Check out these great tips for buying cars!!

  • Buy at the end of the month when the dealer has already made their quota for selling new cars. They are more likely to give you a better deal because your deal is gravy to them.
  • The new car year starts in September but if there are no year-to-year changes in a model you like, try buying it in the fall when the next years models have arrived. Dealers will want to get rid of the "old" vehicles to make space for the new models.

  • Always have the invoice price for the new car. This will help you negotiate a better deal.
  • Do not get suckered into buying a scotch-guarding or rust proofing from the dealer. They often make more money on these services then on the vehicle itself. Get it done yourself at an independent shop and you'll save hundreds.
  • Remember, your the boss. Don't get suckered into buying anything that you do not feel comfortable with.
